Pradeep began his career as an actor around 2001. He was aged 40 at the time. He had appeared in 70 films up to this time. Initially, he was cast in comedic roles in films. Ee Nadu Enale Vare, directed by IV Sasi, was his first film. His brief appearance in Gautham Menon’s Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya received a lot of praise.
