Suhail of J&K Makes his Debut as The I-Youngest Player in The League

Since its foundation, the J&K Sports Council Football Academy has produced national & international players who have demonstrated their mettle in several events, bringing glory to the Union Territory.

Reshi Rajput, Muheet Shabir, Sajad Hussain, and Suhail Ahmed are just a few examples of players who have excelled for the Indian National Team and ISL clubs. Approximately 60 JKSC Football Academy players compete in professional I-League events in various age groups every year against the nation’s biggest clubs.

Suhail Ahmad, who is only 16 years old, has been the youngest player from J&K to make his Hero I-League debut for AIFF’s Indian Arrows Football team. Suhail already is a member of the Indian U-17 National Team.

In the second period, the striker came in for Indian Arrows against Sudeva FC and assisted his team win.

Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan, praised the young footballer and wished him well in his future undertakings.

He promised that the government would continue to be at the forefront of encouraging and assisting players in any way possible.

Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary for Youth Services and Sports, and Nuzhat Gul, Secretary of the Sports Council, also congratulated Suhail on his excellent success.

What is I League Football Academy?

The Indian Arrows (formerly known as the Pailan Arrows) are an I-League football team based in India. The All India Football Federation established the club in 2010 to develop young Indian football potential. The concept was resurrected as Indian Arrows in 2017 post disbanding in 2013.

Indian Arrows, an I-League team dependent in Vasco da Gama, Goa. The AIFF founded the club in 2010 as Pailan Arrows but was later disbanded in 2013.

The club was renamed Indian Arrows by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). The club was founded to develop and assist young and aspiring Indian players.
