Karan Johar Reveals Posters for Shanaya Kapoor’s Maiden Film, Bedhadak, with Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada
Bedhadak, starring Shanaya Kapoor, Lakshya, and Gurfateh Pirzada, has been announced by Karan Johar.
On Thursday morning, Karan Johar announced a film release on social media, as promised. He shared posters for Dharma Productions’ next film, Bedhadak, over Twitter. Shanaya Kapoor, Lakshya, plus Gurfateh Pirzada will make their acting debut there in the movie directed by Shashank Khaitan.
The poster
Shanaya is dressed in a pink and grey top, having her face hidden by her wind-swept hairstyle in her poster. In the film, she is presented as Nimrit. With the cover, Karan wrote, “Introducing the gorgeous @shanayakapoor as Nimrit in #Bedhadak. An enchanting force to look out for, I can’t wait to see the energy she brings onto the screen!”

Lakshya, who was set to make his acting debut with the now-cancelled/shelved Dostana 2, would play Karan in the movie. On his Facebook page about his poster, Karan said, “Looks that will melt your heart just as easily as his smile will. Presenting #Lakshya as Karan in #Bedhadak.”

Gurfateh, the third newcomer, shall play Angad. “His brooding good looks will have you smitten in no time! Watch Angad’s character come alive in #Bedhadak with @gurfatehpirzada bringing his effortless suave onto the big screen,” Karan wrote.

Daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor, shanaya is an actress. Her cousin Janhvi Kapoor’s film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl used her as an assistant director.
Lakshya has previously appeared in shows such as Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, MTV India’s Warrior High, and Porus.
Gurfateh Singh Pirzada is the 3rd actor to enter Bedhadak.
Karan Johar is now enjoying the success of his Netflix drama The Fame Game, which stars Madhuri Dixit and is currently leading the streaming service’s hotlists.
