The BJP has taken the lead in more than 20 seats in Manipur’s northeastern state, with incumbent Chief Minister N Biren Singh leading in Heingang.

In Uttar Pradesh and Manipur, several exit polls anticipated a comfortable victory for the governing Bharatiya Janata Party, with an edge in Uttarakhand and a close race in Goa. Exit polling indicates that Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) can make a significant leap in Punjab, for one pollster forecasting up to 111 seats for Arvind Kejriwal’s party within 117-member legislature.
